Rosas Sensei, a demonstration with the katana. Nanatokan©

Enshin Itto-ryu Battojutsu is a Japanese sword art dedicated to the katana (Japanese sword) and to swordsmanship.

In this class students have the opportunity to experience bushido (the way of the warrior) as a means to modern times and leadership. We use katanas as well as bokkens (wooden swords) to practice pre-arranged forms and applications while we simultaneously learn about the philo- sophy and ethos of the Samurai.

Note: You do not need a katana to start practicing this martial art.
